Model 4010-TD: Basic Thickness Gage: For rolling mills, process and inspection lines.

 

 
 

This is a basic measuring gage for small rolling mills, process and inspection lines running at medium to high speeds. Features include an SMT designed, ball bearing housed inner "C" frame enclosed in a machined aluminum frame. The "C" frame supports two LVDT electronic transducers tipped with highly polished diamond contact points for measurement stability and to prevent surface marking. As a matched pair, these dual transducers have the capacity to provide infinite resolution. With the transducers linearized and matched, any adverse effects on measurement which might result from high frequency vibration are nullified. Net force on the strip surface can be as little as 1.75 oz. All working components are maintained in-stock for part replacement.
